Apache is a free and open-source cross-platform web server. It is available to run on Linux, Windows, OS/2 and more operating systems. Currently, it is the most-widely used web server in the world.
We all know that to configure Apache by coding isn’t an easy work, especially for beginners who don’t have much Linux knowledge. In order to solve this issue easily and quickly, VPSrobots is designed to provide a dedicated GUI dashboard for Apache configuration. This article describes how to configure effortlessly Apache web server on a GUI dashboard.
Step 1. Log in VPSrobots and connect to server. And click login icon to access your server.
Step 2. After that, click Apache option on the left side navigation menu to go to Apache Configuration and Modules page which consists of Apache Module and Apache configuration. On Apache Module page, click switch icon to turn on and off Apache module. After modifying the module status, click Save Changes button to make changes effective.
Step 3. Click Apache Configuration tab to switch to Apache configuration page. Click Edit button and enter the desired value in the field then click Save button. Finally, click Save Changes button to make changes take effect.
Step 4. Once Apache configuration is changed, you need to restart Apache web server. Click the current server option on the left side naviagtion menu to go to server status page, and you will find Restart Apache button located in Apache2 Settings section. Click it to restart Apache.
Apache is versatile and flexible, the configuration modification will be different depending on your setup.
